One Hour Ride - This is a ride out over the local bridleway with spectacular views over Ulverston, Grixedale Forest and Coniston Old Man. Suitable for Beginners and nervous riders


Two Hour Fell - This is a ride out which takes you over Bigland Fells and through some stunning Lake District countryside. The ride goes over varied terrain and provides several opportunities to canter (more nervous riders can remain at a trot if they prefer). Not suitable for beginners.



Half Day Ride - For the more advanced and adventurous riders, longer Fell Rides may be booked which goes over more challenging terrain and provides more opportunities to canter where the ground is suitable. Must be able to Canter in Balance

The standard fell ride lasts for approximately 2 hours.

Note:
All riders are asked to wear long trousers, sturdy shoes or boots and a hat (available from Bigland Hall).
All riders must be over the age of 8 and be able to trot, canter and deal with traffic and gates (this is for riding out)
All riders must complete a rider registration form and may be asked to demonstrate their ability before going on the ride

If it isfound that therider is not to the standard required for the ride chosen then we reserve the right to downgrade the ride accordingly. No refunds will be given is these cases.
